Gig Tuner is designed to work privately on your device. The Android app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information.

Microphone access

Gig Tuner uses the microphone to analyze pitch and chords in real time. This processing happens on your device. Microphone audio is not recorded, stored, uploaded, or shared.

Information stored on your device

Your tuner settings, custom tunings, saved songs, and setlists are stored locally on your device. Gig Tuner does not provide user accounts, advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking.

Android may include this local app data in a device or Google account backup if you have Android backup enabled. Those backups are controlled by your device and account settings; the developer does not receive or access them.

Purchases and distribution

Google Play handles app purchases and distribution under Google's own policies. Gig Tuner does not receive or store your payment-card information.

Data retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear Gig Tuner's app data, or uninstall the app. Android backups can be managed through your device or Google account settings.

Children

Gig Tuner is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If Gig Tuner's privacy practices change, this page will be updated before the change is released.
